What You Will Do:

  • Complete daily work functions within production operations in a safe and efficient manner

  • Blend, react, package, and transfer finished chemical products while maintaining quality standards

  • Operate mechanical and electrical equipment including pumps, mixers, automation control systems, and packaging equipment

  • Perform forklift operations to move raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials throughout the facility

  • Complete production documentation including production tickets, goods receipts, inventory transactions, and shipping documentation

  • Conduct daily inspections of equipment and work areas while maintaining housekeeping standards throughout the facility

  • Comply with all plant safety initiatives, environmental requirements, and quality procedures, including near-miss and incident reporting

  • Assist with physical inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable ISO requirements and company operating procedures

  • Work closely with Production Team Leads and cross-functional teams to support safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations

  • Operate commercial CDL vehicles to transport materials between company facilities and customer locations within the Midland/Odessa area, as business needs require.

Position Details:

  • Location: Odessa, TX

  • Department: Chemical Technologies Manufacturing Operations

  • Reports to: Production Team Leads

  • Ability to work the assigned plant operations schedule, including overtime as needed

  • Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 6 months of relevant experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Must be medically qualified to wear a respirator

  • Physically able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 60 pounds

  • Must currently hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), issued by the state in which the candidate resides

  • Must possess HazMat and Tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain both within 30 days of hire.

  • Acceptable motor vehicle record (3 years)

  • Must be comfortable operating company vehicles equipped with in-cab camera systems.

  • CDL must not include a manual transmission restriction.

  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders and perform bending, squatting, kneeling, and other physical activities required in a manufacturing environment

  • Must have the ability to safely work in an industrial manufacturing environment while wearing required personal protective equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two-year Process Technology degree preferred

  • Minimum of one year of experience as an operator in a batch or specialty chemical manufacturing plant

  • Minimum of one year of relevant manufacturing or production experience

  • Forklift operation certification preferred

  • 24-Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred

  • Basic computer application literacy, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn internal business systems

  • Prior experience that demonstrates strong communication and organizational skills

  • Prior experience that demonstrates strong work ethic, effective time management, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Physical Demands:

  • May be required to Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to 60 pounds.

  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders on a regular basis.

  • Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and perform repetitive physical activities throughout the workday.

  • Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment, including a respirator.

  • Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.
