As a Customer Service Specialist, you will provide onsite technical support for MCH workstations and end-user hardware and software needs. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while troubleshooting, maintaining, and resolving issues involving desktops, laptops, peripheral devices, telecommunications, and network connectivity. You will perform routine technical maintenance, support project-based initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable technology services and a positive customer experience.

 Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite technical support for end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, telecom, and network systems.
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and document hardware and software issues.
  • Install, configure, and update end-user desktop and laptop software as required.
  • Prioritize and escalate issues effectively when necessary.
  • Contribute to knowledge-sharing forums to help identify and resolve technical problems.
  • Assist in various phases of support, including coordination, monitoring, tracking, and resolution of issues related to client installations, upgrades, and configurations for software, hardware, and operating systems.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a technical support role, with knowledge of desktop, laptop, telecom, and network troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with common operating systems, application software, and hardware configurations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

 

 

On-Call Rotation:

This role includes participation in an on-call rotation, requiring availability to address technical issues outside regular business hours as scheduled.

 

Work Environment:

This is a fully onsite role, and candidates must be available to work in-person

The onsite position is in a Hospital, must be able to adhere and abide by hospital policy

One year experience supporting medium to large applications, working directly with internal/external clients, and providing user support of IBM PC/Windows network custom business applications preferred. Experience with Microsoft Windows and MS Office applications, specifically EXCEL, Word, PowerPoint, and Electronic Mail preferred. Ability to develop a working knowledge of assigned company products, interact effectively with other technical and non-technical resources, and quickly establish comfortable and effective working relationships.
