Our VisionReworld is leading the charge to a carbon-negative future through revolutionary sustainable materials management solutions that reduce, reuse, recycle and reimagine waste for the benefit of society and the environment.Our BusinessReworld partners with businesses by offering cutting-edge engineering and innovative solutions, to help customers reduce, reuse, recycle and recover value from waste streams and meet or exceed their sustainability goals.Our ValueReworld's differentiator comes from our ecosystem of technology, facilities and partnerships, trusted by the world’s largest organizations to reimagine waste management for a smarter, more sustainable world.All that we’re missing is you.  Apply today!About the roleAs a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for the planned, unplanned, and preventative maintenance tasks required to ensure safe and efficient operational effectiveness of equipment and systems which enable Reworld’s industrial disposal process.Position Responsibilities:Effectively complete preventive maintenance tasks per maintenance schedule to prevent breakdowns of equipment and operational downtimeUtilize root-cause analysis skills to investigate breakdown and line stoppages collaborating with various teams and stakeholdersPrioritize work to ensure timely maintenance, repair and installation of equipment, tools, and utility systems to minimize production downtime and complete all required paperwork and documentation in the company’s computerized maintenance documentation programUtilize Reworld’s defined maintenance documentation program to open and close out work orders, check out spare parts, and other activities as required in the plant.Repair and/or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment including inspection, assembly, disassembly, and replacement as necessaryObserve and evaluate the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions utilizing mechanical devicesReview maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activitiesInspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational and safety performance standards.Position Requirements & Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentA minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environmentMust have the ability to participate in on-call rotationsPhysical Demands of the Role:Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climbAbility to lift/carry 50lbsAbility to work from heights and in confined spacesQualify to wear a full-face respirator Consistently work in various weather conditionsIn addition to salary, this role is eligible for benefits.
