At Alera Group, our Property & Casualty team helps businesses protect their assets, manage risk, and plan confidently for the future. We’re seeking a Commercial Lines Account Support Specialist who will support risk strategy, client service excellence, and operational accuracy.

The Commercial Lines Account Support Specialist provides essential day-to-day service support to Account Managers, helping ensure a high level of client satisfaction, operational accuracy, and team efficiency. This role is critical in maintaining strong client relationships and supporting the retention of existing business.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do / Your Impact
Client Partnership and Risk Strategy
- Support Account Managers and Producers with servicing client accounts
- Assist with communication between clients, carriers and internal teams
- Contribute to retention efforts by ensuring responsive and high-quality service delivery
Operational Excellence
- Maintain accurate documentation within agency management systems such as AMS360 or EPIC
- Process policy changes, endorsements, certificates and related documentation
- Support new business and renewal processes, including data entry and file maintenance
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, carrier requirements and regulatory guidelines
- Assist with preparing reports, audits and administrative deliverables
Strategic Contribution
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance service delivery
- Support team initiatives focused on efficiency, quality and accuracy
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment through knowledge, sharing and support
Qualifications
What You Bring
Required
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Experience working within an insurance agency or brokerage environment
- 1–2 years of experience supporting Commercial Lines insurance accounts
- Familiarity with commercial insurance documentation and servicing workflows

Additional Information
Compensation:Salary range: $50,000 – $55,000 per year

Licensure & Certifications
This position may require:
Active Property & Casualty License OR
Ability to obtain required licensure within 6 months of hire
Ongoing continuing education to maintain active status
