VTD Application Engineer
Job Responsibilities
1. Industry & Technical Research: Keep track of development trends, mainstream technical routes of autonomous driving and iterative progress of simulation testing technologies. Conduct in-depth research on the overall architecture, underlying operating mechanism and core module logic of VTD simulation software, and independently evaluate industry-level simulation testing solutions.
2. Customized Test Solution Development: Design and implement full-scenario autonomous driving simulation testing solutions independently based on customized requirements from customers across diverse industries. Cover all XIL test types including MIL, SIL, HIL, DIL and cloud-based simulation to satisfy differentiated testing demands.
3. Customer Technical Support & Issue Closure: Provide full-lifecycle professional technical support related to VTD simulation testing. Respond promptly and resolve technical faults arising from software operation, environment setup and test execution to ensure smooth project delivery for clients.
Job Requirements
1. Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in autonomous driving simulation testing. Familiar with the full workflow and specifications of automated AD testing, as well as deployment, maintenance and optimization of various simulation test systems with proven project delivery track records.
2. Core Competency: Expertise in full functions of VTD software; proficient in setup, commissioning and delivery of all VTD-based XIL solutions; thorough understanding of the operating principles and collaborative logic of scenario simulation, vehicle dynamics simulation and automated testing tools.
3. Cloud Simulation Capability: Skilled in VTD cloud simulation solutions; capable of architecture design, deployment, compatibility debugging, maintenance and optimization of VTD test systems on private cloud infrastructure.
4. Troubleshooting: Solid practical skills on VTD to independently diagnose and fix technical defects regarding software usage, simulation runtime and system compatibility.
5. Module Customization: Deep insight into VTD underlying architecture and core modules; able to configure parameters, adjust functions and customize IG, ROD, MM modules to meet personalized customer testing requirements.
6. Sensor Simulation: Full proficiency in building camera sensor simulation on VTD, including clock source and data refresh rate parameter adaptation across multi-system environments; expert in LiDAR simulation modeling, capable of model revision, parameter calibration and performance optimization matching hardware specifications of various LiDAR products.
7. Comprehensive Quality: Strong client communication, requirement decomposition and project management skills with clear logical thinking and strong sense of accountability; able to respond to customer requests efficiently and complete end-to-end technical implementation independently.
8. Capable of reading English technical literature and daily oral English communication.
9. Master’s degree or higher in Mechanical Design, Vehicle Engineering or related disciplines( It's best to graduate from a 985/211 university or For those who are particularly outstanding, the requirement can be relaxed to a bachelor's degree)
Preferred Qualifications
1. Proven experience in project coordination and delivery with OEMs and autonomous driving solution vendors, familiar with mainstream industrial testing standards and client requirements.
2. Capabilities in AD scenario library construction, test script programming and post-test data analysis.
3. In-depth knowledge of automotive onboard sensor fundamentals with practical experience in simulating multiple camera and LiDAR variants.
4. Prior experience in architecture building, private-cloud deployment and daily operation of cloud-native simulation platforms.
