Your role and responsibilities
As a Security Consultant specializing in Application Security, you will help clients understand and address application security issues, risks, and vulnerabilities through expert analysis and guidance. You will provide consulting services to analyze and resolve security incidents, ultimately supporting clients in achieving a superior security posture. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Advise, design, and implement SAP cybersecurity solutions with a focus on role and authorization concepts across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Analyze customer requirements and develop security solutions leveraging SAP's latest cybersecurity and Identity Access Governance portfolio, including SAP Cloud Identity Services, SAP GRC, SAP Enterprise Threat Detection (ETD), and SAP Risk and Assurance Management (RAM).
- Design, implement, and administer SAP Identity and Access Governance frameworks for both on-premises and cloud-based SAP environments.
- Assess security architectures and provide expert guidance on cybersecurity best practices, risk mitigation, and compliance requirements within SAP landscapes.
- Collaborate closely with customers and internal project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation, testing, and go-live support.
- Support customers in optimizing and securing their SAP environments through continuous improvement initiatives and security assessments.
- Stay current with emerging SAP security technologies, industry trends, and cybersecurity standards.

Required technical and professional expertise
- Proven experience in SAP Security and Authorization concepts, including design and administration of roles and authorizations in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and SAP BTP environments.
- Strong expertise in Identity Access Governance (IAG) concepts, architectures, and security best practices for SAP solutions.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following SAP security products:
- SAP Cloud Identity Services
- SAP GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance)
- SAP Enterprise Threat Detection (ETD)
- SAP Risk and Assurance Management (RAM)
- Solid understanding of SAP cybersecurity principles, risk management, and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with both cloud and on-premises SAP environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and consulting skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and project teams.
- Fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken).
- Swiss or EU nationality, or a valid Swiss work permit.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
