We have more than 900 employees, united by a shared vision: improving life on Earth by becoming the global source of truth in Earth Observation.Your day-to-day responsibilitiesSupport maintenance, updates, and continuous improvement of existing RF hardware systemsAssist in the design, simulation, and validation of RF circuits for X-band and abovePerform hands-on lab work including testing, debugging, root-cause analysis, and tuning using RF test equipmentRun EM and circuit simulations and correlate results with measurementsCreate, review, and update schematics and PCB layouts with RF-critical design considerationsSupport verification activities including test plans, procedures, and validation of prototypesMaintain and produce technical documentation for hardware updates and processesCollaborate closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams across the payload development lifecycle What we’re looking forMust haves:4+ years of experience in RF engineering with a focus on practical product developmentHands-on experience performing RF measurements and troubleshooting in lab environmentsExperience with RF test equipment such as VNA, spectrum analyzers, and signal generatorsExperience with PCB design tools such as Altium and understanding of RF layout best practicesFamiliarity with RF simulation tools such as ADS and 3D EM tools such as HFSS or CSTSolid understanding of RF fundamentals including linearity, noise figure, phase noise, and filteringAbility to collaborate effectively within cross-functional engineering teams Nice to haves:Experience with Python for analysis or automationExperience with radar payloads, spaceborne RF systems, or aerospace hardwareExperience with high-power RF or low-noise receiver designFamiliarity with qualification standards such as ECSS or MIL and environmental testing Application ProcessRecruiter screeningHiring manager interviewTechnical taskTechnical panel interviewFinal interview Working at ICEYEAt ICEYE, you’ll join a diverse and highly engaged team united by the ambition to make the impossible possible.
