Senior License Management Services Specialist - Maternity Cover

Join us as a Senior License Management Operations Specialist in our Software Asset Management (SAM) team and help us do what we do best: propelling business forward.

Based in Sofia, Bulgaria, this role supports customers across the USA/EMEA regions and reports to our Director in Dublin, Ireland. You will promote proper use and distribution of Progress products through impartial, cooperative license reviews and consultative engagement. You will partner with customers and Account Managers to ensure smooth, successful license compliance engagements.

Please note that this is a maternity cover position with an approximate duration of 1 - 1,5 years. 

In this role you will:

  • Perform comprehensive and accurate analysis for POA/SaaS reviews
  • Interpret complex license and support service agreements
  • Work with large data sets to validate usage and entitlements
  • Manage audit announcements and act as the primary point of contact, advocating Progress’s right to audit
  • Conduct customer interviews to understand technical environments and deployments
  • Engage with customers and Account Managers to execute and complete license compliance engagements
  • Generate clear, timely reports and presentations
  • Communicate consistently across multiple channels and stakeholder levels
  • Build strong partnerships with Sales, Finance, Legal and Support
  • Deliver impartial, cooperative license reviews across USA/EMEA customers
  • Contribute to license management projects and process improvements

Your background:

  • University degree or equivalent, preferably in IT, Finance or Accounting
  • Positive, business-focused, problem-solving attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working independently and within a team
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly
  • Proficiency with MS Office; strong Excel and PowerPoint; quick to learn new applications

It will be beneficial if you have:

  • Experience with customer contracts
  • Experience in license compliance and auditing practices
  • Data analytics expertise
