What You'll Do

As the Patient Facilitator Supervisor, you'll provide daily leadership while helping ensure patients receive outstanding care and service from arrival through discharge.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and coach the Patient Facilitator team through daily support and ongoing development.
  • Train new team members and provide constructive feedback to encourage growth and success.
  • Lead by example by demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and exceptional customer service.
  • Organize daily workflows and assign responsibilities based on patient volume and facility needs.
  • Help maintain appropriate staffing while minimizing overtime whenever possible.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and service-focused team culture.

Patient Experience

  • Create a warm, welcoming environment for patients, families, and visitors.
  • Ensure every patient is treated with dignity, compassion, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Assist patients with transportation throughout the facility using wheelchairs, stretchers, and transport beds.
  • Safely assist patients entering and exiting vehicles while following proper lifting techniques.
  • Verify patient identification before every transport.
  • Transport patients promptly to testing, imaging, treatment areas, and other departments.
  • Clean and sanitize transport equipment before and after each use.
  • Assist with maintaining clean, organized patient rooms, nursing stations, and common areas.
  • Restock patient supplies to ensure rooms remain fully prepared.

Operations & Facility Support

  • Coordinate inventory and supply levels throughout the facility.
  • Pick up bulk orders and restock supplies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for facility resources, including vehicle usage logs, credit card logs, receipts, and invoices.
  • Transport laboratory specimens safely and efficiently.
  • Support daily operational needs to ensure smooth facility operations.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who enjoys leading others while providing exceptional service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid driver's license with no restrictions
  • One year of experience as a Patient Transporter, Home Health Aide, CNA, EMT, Medical Assistant, or similar healthcare role
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and compassionate in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to assist with on-call responsibilities and staffing needs when necessary
