In this role you will provide technical engineering support in Core Projects throughout the planning, design, cost estimating, risk assessment, schedule development, and pre-sanction stages of the project lifecycle primarily for the Gas and Liquids Pipeline business units.

What You Will Do:
Ensure appropriate stakeholder management; preliminary determination of regulatory requirements; completion of front-end engineering and designs, cost estimates, and project execution strategies are developed.
Develop realistic and reliable project schedules and cost estimates for projects, while appropriately defining risks, uncertainties and likelihood for those schedules and cost estimates.
Develop charters for Rough Order of Magnitude to Class 3 scope supported by estimates and schedules to meet the needs of various sponsors. Charters define critical information, specific to each project to be used by executive management to make decisions.
Provide regular formal and informal project management reporting to Senior Management and stakeholders on assigned projects.
Who You are:
Engineering degree. Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
Registered or eligible to register as an Engineer-In-Training in Alberta with APEGA.
2-4 years of related experience in oil and gas engineering, operations, project management, and/or project development. Experience with industrial electrical systems or construction is experience is an asset.
Effective interpersonal skills to facilitate communication between all team members.
Project Management skills to prepare projects to move from development to sanction/execution.
The ability to work independently and self-prioritize and handle changing priorities and work tasks.
Working Conditions:
Office environment.
Up to 10% travel to Enbridge offices, operating facilities, construction sites, and supplier facilities.
Valid passport to travel and work between Canada and US.
