As an upholstery trainee, you will be trained in all aspects of upholstery. This role is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong interest in learning a skilled trade and who values attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
- You will be trained on the following:
- Perform upholstery tasks including fabric trimming, and attaching material to furniture frames.
- Inspect materials for defects and ensure quality control throughout the upholstery process.
- Operate upholstery tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
- Strong interest and willingness to learn a highly-skilled, in-demand trade
- Basic experience with hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work in a team environment
