This role works closely with surgeons and the specialty team to ensure patients receive attentive monitoring, pain management, and compassionate care throughout recovery and hospitalization.Responsibilities:As a vital member of our team, you’ll assist our veterinarians in a wide range of duties, including:IV catheter placement, blood drawing, and IV fluid maintenanceSurgical recovery, post-op pain management, and patient monitoringRadiographs, surgical prep, and induction assistanceDaily upkeep of the patient care ward and accurate patient documentationCompassionate client communication and patient-focused careQualifications:You are a Licensed Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Technician dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care.You are dedicated to maintaining a positive, respectful, uplifting hospital culture and genuinely love working with people that share that same value.Take the initiative – you are a * hard worker who contributes to the operation of the entire hospital*, you will help get all the day’s duties done!You are versatile – you know how to effectively adapt to the individual needs of each patient and are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of patients and their families.You possess clinical skills and experience that include (but are not limited to):Safe patient restraintExcellent client service Phlebotomy and catheter placementKnowledge of radiology safety and proper techniqueProficient in post-op monitoring and care of surgical patientsSolid foundation of knowledge of common veterinary medicationsIndividualized, patient-focused nursingFluent English speaking and reading skills required; multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.About...
