Job Description:

As a Supervisor, Donor Care Process, your impact is vital. You will provide leadership and oversight for donor care processes that support safe, efficient, and consistent blood collection operations. Through coaching, collaboration, and operational guidance, you will help drive standardized practices, support quality initiatives, and ensure teams have the tools and resources needed to deliver exceptional donor experiences.

In this role, you will partner with leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, enhance operational effectiveness, and support compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Your work will help strengthen donor care operations, foster team engagement, and contribute to Vitalant's mission of delivering lifesaving blood products to patients and communities in need.

What to Expect:

Compensation: $56,825.60 to $83,335.20 Salary

Schedule: M- F 8-5 pm

Hybrid: 2 days in office and 3 days remote

You'll Get to 

  • Lead and support donor care process operations to ensure safe, efficient, and standardized practices across the organization.

  • Coach, develop, and support team members while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to implement process enhancements that improve operational effectiveness and the donor experience.

  • Monitor performance trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and help drive solutions that support quality and compliance objectives.

  • Provide day-to-day operational guidance and support for donor care processes, policies, and best practices.

  • Contribute to initiatives that strengthen donor care operations and support Vitalant's mission of providing lifesaving blood products to patients and communities.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Valid in-state driver’s license required.

  • Three years of related experience required.

  • Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties and responsibilities.

  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

  • Must have analytical, statistical, personal organization and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and participate as an active member of management.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

  • Able to organize, prioritize, and execute a variable workload and multiple priorities.

  • Must have a participative management style, strong team development, and coaching skills.

  • Must have proficient computer skills.

  • Ability to travel (25+ %)
