About the role:

The Recreation Attendant will share our passion for excellence and be committed to creating exceptional and memorable experiences for our guests. As part of a diverse and dynamic team, the Recreation Attendant will contribute to delivering the award-winning service standards for which our resort is renowned. This position reports to the Recreation Manager.

What you will do:

• Plans and conducts activities and excursions for guests and kids, creates highly personalized and enjoyable guest experiences on and off the island, including at the Kid's Club
• Provides genuine hospitality and recognition in the work area
• Anticipates guest needs and takes ownership of guest concerns and requests; acts decisively to ensure guest satisfaction; reports all glitches to Assistant Manager for further follow up.
• Is proficient in the safe handling of all relevant equipment and machinery; reports defects and accidents to management immediately
• Possesses a high degree of product knowledge and relevant technical skills; keeps abreast of events in the resort & the country; promotes resort services and products
• Handles unexpected situations and emergencies in a composed and intelligent manner and in accordance with resort policies and procedures
• Is competent in the use of and carefully maintains the resort's health, tennis and watersports equipment, facilitates guest use of such equipment
• Entertains children and young adults with appropriate activities
• Provides guests with insightful recommendations on the country's cultural, shopping and dining & entertainment establishments; gives interesting and vivid descriptions in a concise and appropriate manner; creates highly personalized guest experiences
• Diligently follows boat safety procedures
• Is seen as working hands-on, assists colleagues in crunch times; Walks the talk
• Actively participates in briefings and meetings
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and promotes a safe working environment
• Performs any additional duties as assigned

What you bring:

• Good proficiency in English and Mathematics, with strong psychometric and analytical abilities.
• Demonstrates strong artistic talent, particularly in painting.
• Successfully completed O-Level education or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in a luxury resort environment is preferred.
• Exhibits personal finesse, creativity, and a strong sense of style.
• Demonstrates potential for growth, learning, and career advancement.
• Passionate about outdoor activities and able to swim confidently.
• Skills or experience in watersports, tennis, and a general understanding of gym equipment will be an advantage.

Schedule & Hours:

• This is a full-time position
• 48 hours a week with one day off
