The Role
We are recruiting Electrical Technicians at various experience levels to join our brand-new Kilkenny site. This is a hands-on technical role where you'll play a critical role in ensuring our automated production lines run safely, efficiently, and reliably. You'll work with modern machinery, structured maintenance systems, and cross-functional teams, with strong opportunities for skill development and career progression in a growing operation.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on production equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automated systems
- Monitor machine performance and support OEE and yield targets
- Use data and CMMS systems to identify issues and drive improvements
- Support or lead continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities
- Assist with equipment installation, validation, and upgrades
- Train and support operators on production equipment
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and operations teams
- Maintain clear documentation, reporting, and compliance standards
Experience Levels – Where You Fit
We are hiring across two levels, recognising both potential and proven experience:
Level A
You are early in your career or transitioning into manufacturing.
- Foundational mechanical/electrical knowledge (Level 6+ qualification, electrical apprenticeship, or equivalent)
- Some hands-on experience (education, apprenticeship, or early role)
- Basic troubleshooting skills with a willingness to learn
- Works best with guidance and structured support
- Strong attitude, curiosity, and motivation to grow
We hire Level A for potential and invest in your development.
Level B
You bring strong, proven experience in a technical or manufacturing environment.
- Significant hands-on experience with automated equipment, maintenance, or electrical systems
- Confident in independent troubleshooting and fault finding
- Experience in regulated or high-volume manufacturing (advantageous)
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and drive root cause analysis
- Comfortable working autonomously and leading tasks
- Strong communicator, able to train others and drive improvements
We hire Level B for performance. You'll hit the ground running and make a difference immediately.
What You'll Bring
- Level 6 qualification (or higher) in a technical/engineering discipline, or a recognised electrical trade qualification
- Problem-solving mindset with strong troubleshooting ability
- Interest or experience in automation and manufacturing
- A safety-first, quality-driven approach
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Experience with CMMS or data-driven systems (advantageous)
