Supplier Quality Engineer II - Commercial Aviation
You will report directly to our Quality Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Clearwater, Florida location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact supplier performance by leading quality improvement initiatives, conducting audits, and implementing corrective actions to enhance product reliability and compliance with industry standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sourcing, Operations, and Program Management to troubleshoot and resolve supplier quality issues.
• Lead supplier quality improvement initiatives to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with Honeywell's quality standards.
• Conduct supplier audits to assess supplier capabilities and identify areas for improvement.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
• Provide technical support and guidance to suppliers to help them meet Honeywell’s quality requirements.
• Support internal and customer audits
YOU MUST HAVE
• 2+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering.
• Solid knowledge of quality engineering practices and methodologies, including the understanding and interpretation of drawings, schematics, and Bills of Materials, as well as prior understanding of Corrective Actions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience in conducting supplier audits and driving supplier performance improvement.
WE VALUE
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as technology and engineering.
• Experience in leading supplier development initiatives and driving supplier performance improvement.
• Knowledge of industry quality standards and requirements. Such as AS9100, ANSI, NADCAP, and MIL-STD, among others.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to perform effectively under pressure, be a good team player, and take initiative to learn and work independently.
