About the role:
As a Component Structural Analyst Engineer II, you will be part of a group that provides many services within the framework of the discipline of structural mechanics. These services include design activities, factory/workshop follow-up, and support to nuclear power plant modifications or refueling outage, among other tasks. This is a full-time job.
You will report to the CSA Manager and be located at Nivelles. This is a hybrid position.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform manual calculations and finite element analysis calculations in ANSYS to verify the qualification of nuclear power plant components to the appropriate standards.
- Document analyses in English and French.
- Propose integrated solutions to technical challenges that may arise during projects.
- Participate in international project teams and communicate with relevant parties.
- Ability to travel to the nuclear site to support field interventions or customer meetings.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in mechanical engineering.
- 5+ years of experience.
- Interested in mechanical component stress analysis, finite element analysis software for structural analysis.
- Interested in the nuclear industry.
- Fluent in English.
- Fluent in French. We will automatically reject the candidates who don't speak French.
- We value Dutch.
- Based in Belgium or willing to relocate.
- Previous work experience with ANSYS APDL or workbench.
