Polysomnographer - Part-Time Night

This posting is for multiple openings of a Polysomnographer at Santa Rosa Memoria Hospital in Santa Rose, CA. 

We are offering PART-TIME / NIGHT Shift positions.

You will be required to work 3- 12 hours shifts per week!

 

Under the supervision of the Manager, this position works independently and conducts polysomnographic testing. The PSGT safely operates sophisticated medical equipment used to record sleep/wake physiology, explains procedures, prepares patients and applies recording devices.  Key responsibilities include monitoring polygraph recordings and audio/visual equipment to ensure patient safety, test quality, sleep/wake data and other physiological events.

Required Qualifications:
  • Upon hire: California Polysom Technologist License 
  • Upon hire: National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists, or 
  • Upon hire: National Certified Polysomnographic Technician - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists 
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 
  • 1 year of experience as a polysomnographic technologist; 2 years preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Polysomnography.
  • Upon hire: Membership in Association of Polysomnographic Technologist (APT) or American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM)
