By Joining Citi, you will become part of a global organization whose mission is to serve as a trusted partner to our clients by responsibly providing financial services that enable growth and economic progress.Role Overview:HR Compensation Business Analyst is a detailed oriented candidate that will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions by using data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders and other partners to identify business challenges, gather and document requirements, and recommend improvements to the systems and processes. The candidate will be also responsible for addressing production issue and supporting Compensation and Deferred Compensation groups.Apply an in-depth technical expertise in Compensation and Deferred Compensation principles, practices and procedures.Manage and support systems operations by addressing system issues, data quality and integrations with other applications.Gather, document, and validate business requirements and translates them into user stories, process flows and data models.Liaise with technology partners in the identification and resolution of production issues, as well as projects and new enhancements.Manage system user acceptance testing to ensure expected outcomes with functionality.Work closely with business partners and technology to develop, design and implement new solutions or changes to existing applications.Create/Update compensation configuration in WorkdaySupport project management activities including timelines, deliverables and stakeholder communications.Partner with Payroll, Tax, Legal and Finance to ensure proper reporting of plan activities.Ensure all processes are completed with accuracy and within required timeframes.Identify and implement process improvements.Resolve escalated issues for partners and employees.What we'll need from you:5-10  years of experience in Compensation or Deferred CompensationExperience with JIRA, SQL, Service NOW and reporting tools preferred.Workday configuration experience preferredExperience with managing global applications with complex requirements.Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel.Ability to meet deadlines while dealing with multiple priorities.Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.Developed diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred.This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
