Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Warranty Shipper & Receiver. This position is a full time on-site role located at our Galesburg, MI facility.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $69000 - $101000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

What you’ll do:

The Warranty Shipper/Receiver will coordinate Warranty Return Center freight logistics. This includes freight scheduling, loading/unloading, Bills of Lading, HazMat compliance, reporting, and inbound/outbound FEDEX/UPS shipments for the Galesburg campus. Accomplish assigned tasks while complying with all safety, 5S and EHS policies. Perform and contribute to monthly EHS training, various WRC required training and activities, reporting out results as scheduled.

Collaborate on problem-solving efforts for process and technical continuous improvement. Contribute to maintaining a collaborative and productive work environment in alignment with the Eaton Leadership Competencies.

• Participate in the implementation and audit of each of the EBS elements (safety, housekeeping, 5S, VSM, and EHS (MESH)) policies and procedures. • Prepares documentation and completes invoicing transactions for all shipments. This includes various carrier specific labels, ITAR specific documentation, export documentation, and government contract management. • Responsible for receiving Purchase Orders for the campus within Oracle • Collaborate with the Warranty group to reduce operational costs, inventories and lead times through continuous improvements • Prepare, process, and distribute shipping documentation to support commercial, government, domestic and international shipments. Comply with all international and hazardous shipping regulations. • Maintains a high degree of professionalism, and expert knowledge in the areas of shipping procedures and processes • Adheres to all Eaton policies and procedures related to SCM and shipping functions. • Use correct packing methods are utilized to ensure shipments arrive safely and without damage • Problem-solves difficult issues; proactively addresses changing priorities; and positively manages projects, initiative, and activities under tight deadlines

Qualifications:

Required Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 2 years experience operating a forklift
  • Minimum 3 years experience in shipping/receiving and/or warehouse operations

  • No relocation is available for this position. Candidates must reside within a 50 mile radius of Galesburg MI. (Active Duty Military service members are exempt from this geographical limitation)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Experience with Microsoft Office/computer systems
  • Experience in medium and heavy duty truck industry
  • HAZMAT certification
