Senior Accountant | | UF Health Corporation | Day | Full-Time

Overview

Oversees the preparation and analysis of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Reconciles bank statements and general ledger accounts, and coordinates with auditors during audits. Monitors internal controls to protect company assets, supports tax preparation and filing, and assists in budgeting and forecasting activities. Provides guidance to junior accounting staff and reviews their work to maintain accuracy and completeness.

 

This is a fast paced environment. May work hybrid or in office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Expertise in financial statement preparation and analysis
• Experience managing accounts payable and receivable
• Strong internal control knowledge
• Proficient in accounting software
