Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Specialist to grow and manage our business across French Speaking countries (African Countries), with a strong focus on Grid Integration (HV Substations) Business. The ideal candidate is a native or fluent French speaker with 3–5 years of proven sales experience in power, electrical, or energy-related industries.
This role combines hands-on sales execution, strategic marketing planning, and brand and product performance management, while serving as a subject-matter expert within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Drive face-to-face and remote sales activities with new and existing customers across Francophone markets
- Identify customer needs and propose appropriate electrical power products, services, and solutions
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets
- Negotiate commercial terms and close complex sales deals
- Build long-term relationships with key accounts, distributors, and partners
Marketing & Brand Management
- Plan, develop, and execute market-specific marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives
- Support product positioning, go-to-market initiatives, and brand development in Francophone regions
- Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
Customer Support & Stakeholder Engagement
- Provide high-quality customer support related to product information, pricing, delivery, billing, and issue resolution
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers on technical and commercial matters related to electrical power solutions
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (engineering, operations, finance, and logistics)
Leadership & Expertise
- Serve as a recognized professional in sales and marketing within the Grid and Power Quality Solution and Solution Services in Francophone countries domain.
- Manage large projects or processes
- Handle complex business problems requiring advanced analysis and judgment
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of sales experience in electrical power, energy, industrial, or related technical sectors (HV Substation experience preferred)
- Proven experience selling in French Speaking countries (Africa, or other French-speaking markets)
- Fluent French (spoken and written) is mandatory; English proficiency is a strong advantage
- Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of technical electrical or power-based products and solutions
