Your impact
As a Splunk Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the pre-sales process by partnering with our Sales team to deliver technical expertise on advanced security operations solutions. Operating as a senior individual contributor, you will guide enterprise clients in Saudi Arabia through security challenges, mapping their unique needs to integrated security workflows to ensure robust digital resilience.
You will balance technical excellence with a strategic attitude, laying the groundwork to evolve into a leadership capacity while driving our team strategy forward. Success in this role means effectively mentoring peers and designing tailored architectures that empower our rapidly growing customer base to achieve their business objectives securely. Ultimately, you will serve as a trusted domain expert, transforming security obstacles into scalable solutions that protect critical financial and enterprise infrastructures.
What you will do
- Establish and proactively maintain positive relationships with clients and partners to drive mutual growth in the cybersecurity space.
- Collaborate closely with account teams to align with sales strategies, providing comprehensive support through briefings, proposals, and issue resolution for SecOps portfolios.
- Demonstrate Splunk Cybersecurity products and services onsite, remotely via webinars, and at field events to showcase platform value to prospective buyers.
- Design and architect integrated security workflows tailored to enterprise and financial sector clients to meet their specific regulatory and operational requirements.
- Execute Proof of Values (POVs) and technical integrations to validate solution effectiveness and secure technical wins.
- Apply organized and analytical approaches to creatively overcome sales obstacles and accelerate the sales cycle.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing domain expertise and driving team strategy to prepare for future leadership responsibilities.
Minimum qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or solution architecture within the cybersecurity sector.
- Experience designing and implementing integrated security workflows within Security Operations (SecOps) environments.
- Experience configuring and deploying enterprise cybersecurity platforms, such as Palo Alto Networks (CORTEX), Chronicle, Microsoft Defender, or Fortinet.
- Experience conducting Proof of Value (POV) engagements and delivering technical product demonstrations for enterprise security solutions.
- Experience working directly with enterprises in Saudi Arabia.
Preferred qualifications
- Attainment of industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications, such as CISSP, SANS Cybersecurity, or vendor-specific credentials (e.g., Palo Alto, Microsoft).
- Experience mentoring technical teams and leading strategic pre-sales initiatives.
- Experience working with modern application architectures, including Kubernetes, Docker, or serverless technologies.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages, such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and concepts, including LLMs or GenAI frameworks, as they apply to security analytics.
- Understanding of digital resilience strategies and how security solutions integrate to support overall business continuity.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively translate complex technical concepts to diverse business and technical audiences.
