- Perform building maintenance dutiesand specific tasks such as repairing conveyors, gearboxes, or hydraulic systemsas assigned bythesupervisor
- Preventive maintenance and repairs on the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic,and pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshotmachinery quickly and effectively
- Preventivemaintenance and repairs to Rendering equipment,such as conveyors, gearboxes, augers, and pumps
- Complete all tasks in the safest and most efficient manner
- Be experienced and knowledgeable in high-speed manufacturing and packaging equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, cylinders, case formers, labeling equipment, fillers, and conveyors. Knowledge of welding (S/S, Mig, Tig) is a plus. Your skills will directly support efficient production and quality standards.
- Day-to-day maintenance and repair ofequipment.
- Perform Labeling and Tagging of systems and/or checks for verifications
- Troubleshoot and repairhigh-speedfood processing and packaging equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems on production equipment
- Comply with all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Support and manage all computer/network components,including servers, switches, cabling,and desktop systems at assigned locations
- Program Cisco Switches for Local Area Network
- Document Local Area Network at assigned location(s)
- Document and maintain “Standard Operating Procedures” forsite-specifictechnologies in use at the facility.
- Fundamental understanding of VLANS
- Work with end users and propose new hardware and software solutions to support the business.
- Test all hardware and software modifications before they are introduced into production.
- Provide hardware and software diagnostics for network, hardware,and software issues.
- Manage technology projects in compliance with IT standards
- Provide hardware and network support for “Production Floor” computer systems.
- Supporting all printer functions at assigned locations
- Perform related tasks as required,Data Maintenance
- Facilities Maintenance to include: mowing, trimming, painting, switcher truck maintenance, boilers, pumps, gates, storage racks, and storm water maintenance.
- Climbing, including ladders, lifting, working with a variety of hand and power tools, shop machines,and tools.
