About the Role

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading manufacturing operations within an assigned production cell, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives are achieved. This role plays a critical part in supporting operational excellence by managing workforce planning, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high customer satisfaction standards.

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading manufacturing operations within an assigned production cell, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives are achieved. This role plays a critical part in supporting operational excellence by managing workforce planning, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high customer satisfaction standards.

Key Responsibilities

As a Production Supervisor, you'll be responsible for:

 Supervising daily manufacturing operations and coordinating production activities within the assigned production cell.

• Ensuring all quality-related requirements are completed and documented in compliance with established standards.

• Supporting production scheduling and workforce allocation to ensure production plans and delivery commitments are achieved.

• Monitoring productivity, operational efficiency, and cell performance to maximize output and meet business objectives.

• Managing headcount requirements by evaluating production forecasts and recommending workforce increases or reductions as needed.

• Assisting with production budget management, cost reduction initiatives, and continuous process improvement activities.

• Coordinating material availability and resolving logistics issues to maintain smooth production flow.

• Partnering with customers and internal stakeholders to address operational needs and ensure service expectations are met.

• Supporting production innovation and manufacturing improvements to enhance operational capabilities.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are results-oriented, proactive, collaborative, and passionate about leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• University Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Experience supervising manufacturing personnel in a production environment.

• Conversational English

• Availability to work rotating shifts.

• Experience managing production budgets and cost control initiatives.

• Knowledge of basic management practices including work scheduling, prioritization, coaching, and process execution.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

 • Experience in the aluminum transformation industry.

• Experience in aluminum tube manufacturing processes.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operational excellence methodologies.
