In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilitiesAs a Security Consultant specializing in Endpoint Security, you play a crucial role in helping client IT and business executives address security concerns related to endpoints. You utilize interviews, workshops, and assessments to understand endpoint security issues, risks, exposures, and vulnerabilities.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Analyze Security Incidents: Provide consulting services to analyze and resolve security incidents, working closely with clients to achieve a superior overall security posture.
• Develop Endpoint Strategy: Apply security principles and knowledge of endpoint security technologies to define business drivers and develop associated endpoint strategy, programs, incident response plans, and remediation recommendations and roadmaps.
• Conduct Assessments: Utilize interviews, workshops, and assessments to understand endpoint security issues, risks, exposures, and vulnerabilities, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Enhance Endpoint Security: Focus on enhancing endpoint security and ensuring the client's IT infrastructure remains protected by applying knowledge of endpoint security technologies, including mobility.
• Deliver Consulting Services: Provide consulting services to help clients address security concerns related to endpoints, leveraging expertise in endpoint security technologies and security principles.
Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Bachelor's Degree Required technical and professional expertise• Exposure to Endpoint Security Technologies: Familiarity with endpoint security technologies, including mobility, to analyze security incidents, develop endpoint strategy, and enhance endpoint security.
• Experience Working with Security Principles: Understanding of security principles to define business drivers, develop incident response plans, and provide remediation recommendations.
• Conducting Security Assessments: Experience with conducting interviews, workshops, and assessments to identify endpoint security issues, risks, exposures, and vulnerabilities.
• Analyzing Security Incidents: Exposure to analyzing and resolving security incidents to achieve a superior overall security posture.
• Applying Security Technologies: Experience applying knowledge of endpoint security technologies to develop associated endpoint strategy, programs, and remediation roadmaps.
Preferred technical and professional experience• Mobility Security Knowledge: Exposure to endpoint security technologies, including mobility, to analyze security incidents and develop endpoint strategy.
• Advanced Threat Analysis: Experience working with security principles to define business drivers and develop incident response plans.
• Security Frameworks Understanding: Exposure to security frameworks and regulations to provide remediation recommendations and enhance endpoint security.
