Advanced Manufacturing Engineer I
As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer I, here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. You will report directly to our Advanced Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Mississauga, ON location on an on-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact our manufacturing operations by optimizing production processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will contribute to increased efficiency, reduced costs, and improved quality in our manufacturing operations. Your expertise will help us stay at the forefront of advanced manufacturing technologies and ensure that we deliver innovative and high-quality products to our customers. Your contributions will directly impact on our bottom line and help us maintain our position as a global technology leader.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes to support customer products.
- Develop application software and tooling for a series of complex machines and within a manufacturing sector
- Execute with support, capability of machines and process steps using Design of Experiments and statistical methods to ensure maximum utilization of critical resources, maximum throughput, minimum cost and capacity growth; involves integrating equipment, people, material flow, and information systems
- Solve technical product, process, component, and related problems that affect the efficient operation and/or manufacture of products
- Provide feedback to product designers on suitability of designs for manufacturability with supervision
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot tooling issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
The Honeywell aerospace building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP security clearance.
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing industry
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in computer aided design software such as CREO, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD
We Value:
- Knowledge of industry and quality standards (e.g. IPC-610, J-STD-001, ISO9001).
- Knowledge of SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, and/or other CAD applications
- Previous experience in Project Management - Ability to manage a single line engineering project with a limited number of participants.

The annual base salary range for this position is $64,000 to $85,000 in Mississauga, ON. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
