We are seeking a UI/UX Designer to own and continuously improve the end-to-end digital experience across Guidehouse’s website and Sitecore platform. This role focuses on how users interact with our content—from navigation and structure to visual execution—ensuring experiences are intuitive, effective, and aligned with brand standards. This individual will act as the bridge between experience strategy and execution—defining the design system and guardrails that enable scalable, AI-driven content creation within Sitecore. The ideal candidate brings strong B2B UX/UI expertise and serves as a strategic partner to marketing and business stakeholders, translating business goals and user needs into effective digital experiences.
What You Will Do:
Primary areas of responsibility will include:
- Lead and evolve user journeys across web, email, landing pages, and related digital touchpoints.
- Translate marketing goals, audience needs, and business priorities into clear, intuitive digital experiences.
- Develop wireframes, page structures, user flows, journey maps, and site maps that support scalable marketing execution.
- Identify usability, accessibility, and conversion gaps; recommend improvements grounded in B2B marketing best practices.
- Use testing, analytics, stakeholder feedback, and performance data to refine flows and improve engagement.
- Support personalization and AI-driven experiences within Sitecore while keeping outputs aligned to brand standards and user needs.
- Design clean, modern layouts for landing pages, web experiences, and emails that align with Guidehouse brand standards.
- Build, define, and maintain reusable UI components, templates, and design systems in Figma.
- Maintain consistency in visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, interaction patterns, and responsive behavior across digital channels.
- Ensure designs work across desktop, tablet, mobile, and common email rendering environments.
- Apply UX thinking to improve clarity, accessibility, scanability, and overall usability.
- Provide clear design rationale and recommendations that help stakeholders understand the strategic value behind design decisions.
- Define which components, modules, templates, and patterns are needed to support scalable Sitecore and email experiences.
- Establish clear guardrails for content structure, design behavior, and appropriate creative flexibility.
- Ensure components are flexible enough for marketing needs but controlled enough to protect brand consistency.
- Partner with Sitecore, digital, marketing, and brand/design teams to ensure components are built correctly in platform.
- Help ensure AI-assisted outputs remain on brand, strategically sound, and usable for marketing stakeholders.
- Engage regularly with marketing stakeholders to understand objectives, ask the right questions, and recommend thoughtful UX/UI solutions.
- Bring strategic value to the department by advising on what will work best for B2B audiences, not simply fulfilling requests as assigned.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Brand/Design, Digital/Sitecore, Content, and Campaign teams to connect experience strategy with platform execution.
- Communicate clearly with both creative and non-creative stakeholders, including the ability to explain tradeoffs, constraints, and recommendations.
- Improve workflows and reduce design rework by creating structure, reusable patterns, and clear decision-making criteria.
- Operate independently with good judgment while knowing when to escalate decisions or seek alignment.
What You Will Need:
- Deep understanding of user flows, information architecture, layout design, responsive design, and component-based systems.
- Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud or similar design tools.
- Experience using data, testing, accessibility considerations, and performance feedback to improve digital experiences.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to explain design decisions clearly to marketing stakeholders.
- Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, creative, content, digital, and technical teams.
- Ability to make informed UX/UI recommendations based on experience, context, and B2B audience needs.
Education and Experience:
- Senior-level experience in UX/UI for B2B web, email, CMS-driven, or marketing-led digital environments;
- Years of experience – 10+ Years of experience
What Would Be Nice To Have:
- Experience with Sitecore or similar enterprise CMS platforms.
- Experience with Dynamics Customer Insights Journey or similar email/marketing automation platforms.
- Familiarity with AI-driven content, personalization strategies, and scalable content operations.
- Experience building or governing component-based design systems.
- Understanding of accessibility best practices and inclusive design principles.
- Basic motion design or animation experience.
