How you’ll make an impact in this role
Optimize system stability and architecture by managing PACS databases and server groups, performing daily anomaly management, and resolving root causes to prevent system downtime.
Streamline diagnostic reporting workflows by auditing transcription anomalies daily and driving the swift resolution and finalization of outstanding imaging reports.
Lead end-to-end imaging IT projects by executing system initiatives from inception to completion, managing cross-departmental digital imaging integration, and providing strategic budget input.
Empower clinical end users by designing, coordinating, and delivering comprehensive PACS training and acting as the primary liaison for cross-functional imaging technology initiatives.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- SHHEC-Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire date into job required.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred.
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) preferred.
- Sonography Tech.
Education:
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Radiology or a related field required. Equivalent work experience (three years) may be considered in lieu of degree. AND SHHP-Four years of related experience required. Clinical experience as an RN, Rad Tech or other clinical area is preferred. SHHEC-Five years of Diagnostic Imaging and PACS experience required.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional preferences we're seeking
- Experienced Radiology Technologist with 10 years experience
- PACS Admin course to help with advanced computer systems needed for field specific computer systems
