Warehouse Lead

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Lead to ensure all facility operations follow policies and procedures. They coordinate daily operations by delegating job assignments and providing guidance. A Lead provides supervision at an assigned location when the Manager is not present. The Shift Leader demonstrates established standards to keep the buildings/facilities clean and safe for all workers and customers. This role involves operating specialized equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and supporting general janitorial duties as needed. Location: Hampton, VA Hourly Rate: $17-$18 (Paid Weekly) Schedule: Monday thru Friday 7AM-4PM And Weekends (as needed) Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. ABM is a military and veteran friendly employer, veterans and candidates with military experience encouraged to apply. • Provide leadership and direction to team members • Relay communication between team members, client, customers and management • Report performance issues to the Supervisor • Assist with the training of cleaning team • Coordinate work assignments • Assist with making daily and weekly work schedules • Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building • Manage security of keys and access cards for the property • Report work orders for maintenance • Makes sure premises are secured at all times • Work with Manager to schedule jobs with Property Manager and cleaning crew to complete the work • Oversees quality of jobs and confirms completion with Manager • Provide training to all new hires assigned to the building • Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly • Complete order forms completely and accurately • Coordinate equipment usage and inventories • Must be 18 years of age or older • No experience required and on the job training provided • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required Preferred Qualifications: • Customer service experience • One (1-2) years of similar work experience
