Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Assembler II (3rd shift) - Cable Tray at our Reno, NV location! The hourly rate for this position is $22.73 + $1 Shift Differential per hour
CORE HOURS: 10PM - 6:30AM

## What you’ll do:
The Assembler II position is primarily focused on assisting and setting up for Welders in the Cable Tray department. The Assembler II will assemble and stack/band Cable Tray ladders. The Assembler II will handle materials and parts up to 50-pounds frequently throughout the shift.
* Perform simple repetitive assembly of parts and components
* Use bolts, screws, hand tools, clips and other fastening devices
* Work under close supervision and may work from models, samples, or simple diagrams
* Handle 50-pound parts to assist with large part construction
* Support all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including, but not limited to:
* Maintain 5-S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) throughout shop floor and office areas.
* Track and sustain all visual management tools such as, but not limited to: layered audits, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards, and any additional LEAN tools that are deemed necessary to provide direction, goals and status to the shop floor.
* Encourage, support, and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events throughout the facility, department, and area of responsibility.
Position Success Criteria:
* Consistenly lift 50 pounds
* Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
* Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.
* Must be able to handle materials up to 50 pounds
* Require fine manipulation of hands with repetitive motion.
* Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise.
* Handle materials that pertain to large part construction, weighing 50 pounds multiple times per day.
## Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
* No relocation package offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the work location to be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitations.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
* Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools.
* A minimum of 6 months of experience with forming or bending machines
* A minimum of 6 months of experience reading drawings or blueprints
## Additional Information:
Physical Demands:
* Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance; also lifting more than 50 lbs. with assistance.
* Exposure to high noise level (ear protection may be required in some areas).
* Exposure to high traffic areas with forklift activity.
* Work environment exposes to oils, lubricants, and solvents.
* Require fine manipulation of hands with repetitive motion

* Exposure to cold/heat weather conditions while roll-up doors are open
