Role Description The TIBCO Data Virtualization Specialist will design, develop, and maintain data virtualization layers using TIBCO technologies to support analytics and reporting across the enterprise. This full-time, on-site role in Hyderabad involves working closely with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements, model virtualized data views, and optimize performance. The specialist will integrate multiple data sources, ensure data quality and security, and create reusable data services and APIs for downstream consumers. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting data integration issues, monitoring system performance, implementing best practices for governance, and documenting technical solutions and data models. The role also requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to support new projects, enhancements, and migration initiatives in a dynamic, data-focused environment.


Qualifications

  • Strong experience with TIBCO Data Virtualization (TDV), including designing views, data services, and integration with diverse data sources.
  • Solid understanding of data integration concepts, ETL/ELT, and data modeling (relational, dimensional, and virtualized data models).
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar relational systems.
  • Knowledge of APIs, REST services, and integration patterns to expose virtualized data to applications and analytics platforms.
  • Experience working with analytics and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and supporting data consumption for reporting.
  • Background in enterprise data management, including data quality, security, governance, and performance tuning.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and business teams, translate requirements into data solutions, and communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
