Temp, Microsoft Marketing Specialist
Presidio, Where Teamwork and Innovation Shape the Future
At Presidio, we're at the forefront of a global technology revolution, transforming industries through cutting-edge digital solutions and next-generation AI. We empower businesses - and their internal customers - to achieve more through innovation, automation, and intelligent insights.
The Role
Presidio is seeking a driven and creative Microsoft Marketing Specialist to support our growing Microsoft practice. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of sales and marketing - embedded within the Microsoft sales team and working hand-in-hand with our Microsoft Business Development Executives (BDEs) to build pipeline, deepen partner relationships, and elevate Presidio's presence in the Microsoft ecosystem. You will create and update Microsoft sales content- such as presentations, datasheets, battlecards, and case studies- to support various sales stages and strategies.
You will develop field-ready kits, competitive positioning materials, and tailored resources based on sales team needs and market insights. Additionally, this role requires collaborating with Microsoft, conducting competitive analysis, and ensuring alignment between sales and other internal teams to optimize go-to-market strategies and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Develop customer- and partner-facing decks, one-pagers, solution briefs, datasheets, and sales enablement materials aligned to Presidio’s Microsoft portfolio.
- Create compelling messaging that translates complex cloud and Microsoft solutions into clear, benefits-driven narratives for target audiences.
- Work with internal sales teams to gather win stories and write engaging, complete case studies.
- Create comprehensive field-ready kits and battlecards, including sales playbooks, solution briefs, and competitive positioning information relative to the partnership with Microsoft.
- Create and manage an up-to-date content repository for both internal and external use, ensuring resources reflect the latest market trends, company offerings, and partnership focuses.
- Maintain and refresh a library of MSFT-aligned collateral, ensuring content stays current with Microsoft solution updates, promotions, and co-sell priorities.
- Collaborate with the Presidio marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all Microsoft-related content.
Campaigns & Demand Generation
- Partner with the sales, alliance, and marketing teams to identify go-to-market priorities and provide tailored support through customized resources and collateral.
- Plan and execute end-to-end campaigns across email, social, digital, and partner channels to drive awareness and pipeline for Presidio’s Microsoft-aligned offerings.
- Support co-marketing initiatives and partner-funded campaigns in alignment with Microsoft partner programs and guidelines.
- Budget tracking and support.
- Track and report on campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to optimize future efforts.
Events & Tradeshows
- Plan, coordinate, and execute Presidio's participation in Microsoft events, tradeshows, and partner summits - including Microsoft Ignite, Presidio Yearly Kickoff Event, and regional field events.
- Manage logistics for both virtual and in-person events, including booth coordination, sponsorship deliverables, agenda planning, and post-event follow-up.
- Develop pre- and post-event marketing campaigns to maximize attendance, engagement, and lead conversion.
- Travel to key Microsoft events and Presidio-sponsored activations as needed.
Sales & BDE Alignment
- Serve as the embedded marketing resource for the Microsoft sales team, attending regular syncs with sales leadership and MSFT BDEs.
- Work with internal teams to ensure alignment in messaging, serving as a liaison between sales and other departments.
- Support account-based marketing (ABM) efforts by creating tailored content and outreach strategies for key Microsoft accounts and prospects.
- Assist the sales team with customer-facing presentations, event invitations, and executive briefing materials.
Qualifications
Required
- 2–4 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in technology, cloud, or IT solutions, with a background in sales training, curriculum, or content development.
- Demonstrated ability to create polished, high-quality customer- and partner-facing content (decks, briefs, campaigns, case studies, battlecards).
- Experience working closely with sales teams and translating business priorities into marketing execution.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent written, verbal, and organizational communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint; familiarity with marketing tools (email platforms, CRM, marketing automation).
- Self-starter and team player with a customer service attitude and the ability to be flexible.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Willingness and ability to travel to Microsoft events and tradeshows
Preferred
- Experience working within the Microsoft partner ecosystem or co-sell/MDF programs
- Familiarity with Microsoft solutions including Azure, Microsoft 365, Security, and Modern Work
- Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies and tools
- Background in event management or tradeshow coordination
- Knowledge of Presidio's service areas: cloud, security, networking, and managed services
