The FP&A Analyst is responsible for financial planning and analysis activities across the APAC region, including management reporting, budgeting and forecasting, data analysis, and business performance monitoring. This role reports to the Assistant FP&A Manager and provides actionable financial insights to support decision-making and drive business performance. 

What you will be doing: 

 

Management Reporting & Financial Performance Analysis 

  • Responsible for preparing monthly management reports, financial dashboards and supporting month-end closing activities by reviewing and validating the accuracy, completeness of financial results across the APAC region 

  • Analyze financial performance, investigate and reconcile variances against budget and forecast and provide insights to support decision-making 

Budgeting & Forecasting  

  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting across the APAC region, including consolidating and validating submissions from different departments 

  • Maintain planning templates and forecasting models, and prepare variance analysis to identify key drivers 

 

Data Management  

  • Manage data uploads, updates, and reporting processes to ensure data accuracy and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and data quality 

 

Support ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting enhancements, and process improvement initiatives 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline 

  • Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience in a sizeable company. Experience with MNC/ HK listed entities is a plus  

 

Skills needed to be successful in this role:  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas and handling large datasets 

  • Experienced in ERP systems (e.g. Oracle) is preferred; knowledge of Power BI, OneStream and SQL is an advantage 

  • Detail-minded, analytical, and strong sense of accuracy. Well-organized and able to work independently under tight deadlines 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with stakeholders across different functions and regions 

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
