Forward Deployed Engineer – Agents & Apps Agentic Builders Experience team
Adobe Unified Platform is building the system that changes how software gets made at Adobe. A platform that understands builders’ intent, breaks down complex work, executes it through autonomous agents, and improves with every cycle. What this team ships multiplies across thousands of Adobe engineers, and it's the substrate the rest of Adobe's agentic efforts build on.
Meta Factory is the core of that platform: the Agentic Builders Experience that defines how agents understand their goals, decompose work, use tools, evaluate their own outcomes, and improve over time. Think of it as our own version of Claude Code, optimized for Adobe needs, model independent and operated for the whole company.
Forward Deployed Engineers help make sure this technology solves real problems. You will work directly with Adobe product and engineering teams to understand their workflows, identify where Meta Factory can help, and turn those opportunities into solutions that engineers can use every day.
This role is for engineers who enjoy closing the gap between an impressive AI demo and a reliable production system. You will prototype quickly, build real integrations, learn from users, and help teams adopt new ways of working that may not have seemed possible just a few months earlier.
What you’ll do
- Work directly with Adobe engineering and product teams to bring Meta Factory’s agentic capabilities into real developer workflows, from early prototypes through production rollout.
- Move quickly from problem to working solution, gather feedback from users, and refine the experience into something reliable and repeatable.
- Connect Meta Factory’s generated agent harness with team-specific tools, codebases, CI & CD pipelines, and development environments.
- Act as the link between the platform team and the teams adopting it, bringing back what is working, where teams are struggling, and what the platform needs to improve.
- Create reusable integration patterns, templates, and playbooks that make it easier for other teams to adopt AI Factories.
- Stay current on agentic frameworks, model capabilities, and developer tools, and apply the most useful advances to the work you are delivering.
What you’ll need to succeed
- 10+ years of engineering experience, with a strong track record of delivering complex integrations or platform deployments from design through production.
- Hands-on experience building and operating agentic or LLM-based systems, with a practical understanding of evaluation, reliability, and where these systems can fail in real-world use.
- Experience mentoring engineers or providing technical leadership across a team.
- The ability to move between hands-on delivery and broader platform strategy as the work requires.
- Experience working with internal platform or developer experience teams, with an understanding of both the teams building the platform and the engineers adopting it.
- Deep understanding of polyglot software ecosystems and language runtimes, including how different languages build, execute, manage dependencies, and integrate with developer tooling.
