About lemon.markets 🍋

We enable anyone to be an investor. Our mission is to grow investing opportunities for all European customers and businesses. By empowering FinTechs, banks, and wealth managers to offer investment products, we help create financial well-being for their customers.

lemon.markets is a Brokerage-as-a-Service platform: simple digital access to capital markets through a single API. Our API-first infrastructure abstracts brokerage complexity with a well-documented API, a self-service customer operations portal, and a clear regulatory framework, so partners can launch customer-centric, compliant products in weeks, not months.

As part of the dwpbank Group, we share a clear goal: we enable anyone to be an investor by making investing in capital markets more accessible. By combining dwpbank’s long-standing expertise and stability with lemon.markets’ technology-first mindset and speed, we are building a modern, modular securities services ecosystem. Together, we offer faster time-to-market, modular services, and a modern customer experience that helps financial service providers stay competitive and respond more flexibly in a changing market.

Your Mission

As our ICT Outsourcing Manager, you strengthen how lemon.markets manages and governs external technology services, outsourcing arrangements, and third-party risk in a regulated environment. Sitting at the intersection of Technology, Compliance, Operations, and partner governance, this role helps ensure that our provider landscape is transparent, well-documented, risk-based, and operationally under control. Over the next 6–12 months, your main focus will be to professionalise and stabilise our third-party management setup across external providers, tied agents, and intra-group outsourcing relationships. You will help turn recurring governance work into reliable operating routines, from assessments and reporting to escalations and evidence gathering. This is a hands-on role with real impact, especially for someone who enjoys creating structure, driving follow-up, and continuously improving operational processes.

In this role you will:

  • Act as the first line competence centre for ICT outsourcing and third-party governance topics, working across Technology, Compliance, Operations, business owners, and external partners to ensure risks and responsibilities are transparent and well managed.

  • Own the operational execution of our ICT third-party and outsourcing governance framework across external providers, tied agents, and intra-group outsourcing arrangements, so that key relationships are assessed, documented, and monitored in line with regulatory expectations.

  • Drive risk assessments, due diligence processes, and recurring reviews for new and existing third parties, coordinating relevant stakeholders and turning findings into clear actions, decisions, and follow-ups.

  • Maintain and improve the outsourcing register, governance documentation, and supporting evidence base, creating the level of clarity and traceability needed for internal stakeholders, auditors, regulators, and partners.

  • Prepare, structure, and run governance and review routines, including reporting, meeting preparation, escalation tracking, and action follow-up, to make third-party oversight more consistent, measurable, and decision-useful.

  • Identify and advance process improvements, standardisation opportunities, and selective AI-supported automation in recurring third-party management workflows, helping the function become more scalable and effective over time.

You’ll be successful in this role if you:

  • Bring hands-on experience in ICT outsourcing, third-party management, vendor risk, IT governance, compliance-related operations, or a similar function in a regulated environment.

  • Have a solid understanding of how external providers and outsourcing relationships are governed, documented, and monitored from a risk and compliance perspective.

  • Are comfortable working with risk assessments, service levels, control evidence, recurring reporting, and cross-functional governance routines.

  • Have enough technical affinity to understand IT services, security-related topics, incidents, and operational dependencies without needing to be a security engineer.

  • Work in a highly structured and reliable way, with strong follow-up discipline, good judgment, and the ability to keep multiple stakeholders aligned.

  • Communicate confidently in German and English, and enjoy making complex governance topics clear, practical, and actionable.

How we take care of you:

  • 🏢 Hybrid work setup: You can work from anywhere in Germany within a hybrid model. At the same time, in-person collaboration is a key part of our culture. • 📈 Grow with us: We take your personal development seriously! You’ll get regular mentorship and stretch opportunities, a clear career development framework with frequent feedback conversations as well as an annual learning budget.

  • 🌱 People & culture: You’ll feel our culture in the small things, like Polaroids from our lemoneers’ first day and our monthly new-joiner breakfasts. • 💛 Perks & benefits: We choose benefits that add actual value. We sponsor a Deutschlandticket for employees on unlimited contracts, plus 50% off on Beatvest - our partner for financial education and investing.

  • 🏝 Workation: Get out of here! At lemon.markets you can work remotely from anywhere in the EU for up to 10 consecutive days at a time, and up to 60 days per year in total.
