About the role:

As a Planning & Production Engineering (PPE) – Machining, you will lead the day-to-day operational management of the workshop. You will ensure that production plans are executed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate machine workloads, set production priorities, and align with CNC programmers to meet delivery targets. You will include monitoring performance against KPIs, optimising efficiency, and improving initiatives across machining operations.

You will report to the Metal Works Manager and be located at Monfalcone, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy. This position will be offered as an onsite role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and optimise workshop production schedules, ensuring adherence to project timelines and resource availability
  • Drive quality performance by managing non-conformities, conducting root cause analyses, and implementing corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a strong safety culture across workshop activities
  • Monitor production KPIs, align actual versus planned hours, and support cost reduction and efficiency improvements
  • Collaborate with production, CAM, and programming teams to prioritize work and implement recovery plans when needed

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in machining production or project management environments

  • High School Diploma graduate with mechanical engineering major or equivalent (Robotics, NC, etc.).

  • Experience working with machining processes and CNC programming environments

  • Ability to interpret production KPIs and implement operational improvements

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The gross base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be €31,900 to €42,000 per year.
