As a Global Road Logistics BI Product Owner (m/f/d), you will design and deliver end-to-end Business Intelligence solutions that support Road Logistics operations by transforming business needs into scalable, data-driven products. You will collaborate with global business leaders, stakeholders, IT development teams, and project managers to modernize the analytics landscape, streamline BI solutions, and enhance data visibility, enabling consistent, efficient, and informed decision-making across the organization.
How you create impact
- Conduct comprehensive requirements analysis to understand business challenges and define BI use cases.
- Analyze complex business needs, evaluate solution options, and design end-to-end BI and analytics solutions that deliver business value.
- Develop technical specifications, guide BI development teams, and ensure solutions are fit for purpose from design through deployment.
- Own the functional delivery lifecycle, including solution development, testing, and validation of KPIs and key business metrics.
- Design intuitive dashboards and communicate analytical insights clearly to business stakeholders.
- Drive the standardization and optimization of the BI landscape by consolidating data products and promoting consistency and efficiency.
- Build deep expertise in Road Logistics processes and systems to develop effective data products across Finance, Operations, and Sales.
- Promote BI best practices and leverage emerging data technologies to shape and advance the BI & Analytics roadmap.
What we would like you to bring
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Statistics, Logistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 10+ years of experience delivering complex Business Intelligence programs and enterprise-scale BI solutions.
- Strong ability to leverage data, BI, and analytics to drive operational efficiency and business value.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business teams.
- Solid expertise in data modeling, data quality, analytical processes, relational databases, SQL, and large-scale data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with BI visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik) and cloud platforms/data warehouses (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake).
- Knowledge of emerging BI, data, analytics, and AI/Machine Learning technologies; logistics and transportation industry experience is an advantage.
- Fluency in English.
