Help protect and elevate critical Risk capabilities across Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) by ensuring every release is tested with rigor and purpose. In this role, you’ll translate business intent into high-quality UAT outcomes that stakeholders can trust. You’ll partner closely with product, technology, and controls teams to remove blockers and accelerate delivery. You’ll also bring a continuous-improvement mindset—leveraging modern tooling, automation, and AI-enabled accelerators to streamline testing and reporting.

As a/an CCB Risk Execution UAT Associate in CCB Risk Execution, you will support the testing and implementation of business-critical strategies and strategic deliveries by shaping UAT approach, executing meaningful end-to-end business scenarios, and driving clear, evidence-based sign-off decisions. You will help ensure testing artifacts are complete, current, and audit-ready, while proactively managing dependencies, risks, assumptions, and stakeholder expectations. You’ll also contribute to improving testing practices through governance, operational discipline, and innovative productivity tooling (including AI-assisted test design and automation where applicable).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support UAT planning and execution for business-critical initiatives, ensuring readiness, coverage, and timely delivery.
  • Validate business requirements by confirming intent, identifying gaps, and translating needs into testable scenarios and acceptance criteria.
  • Develop a comprehensive UAT test approach and detailed test plan, including dependencies, risks, assumptions, and entry/exit criteria.
  • Design clear, traceable UAT test scenarios and scripts aligned to end-to-end process flows and business outcomes.
  • Execute business scenarios in UAT environments, capturing results with clear evidence and detailed defect documentation.
  • Document defects and testing outcomes in JIRA, ensuring accurate prioritization, reproducibility, and lifecycle management through triage and closure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to clarify questions, remove blockers, and drive timely resolution of issues impacting testing milestones.
  • Provide regular, concise status updates to stakeholders and leadership, summarizing progress, risks, coverage, and key decisions needed.
  • Maintain complete and current testing artifacts (plans, scripts, traceability, execution evidence, and sign-offs) in approved repositories and tools.
  • Reconcile outcomes across test cycles and participant groups, leading investigation and resolution of discrepancies and retest requirements.
  • Improve UAT efficiency and effectiveness by adopting process enhancements and leveraging AI-assisted test design, accelerators, dashboards, and workflow automation.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable practical experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on manual testing experience, including creation of test approach, test plans, test scenarios, and detailed test scripts.
  • Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into testable scenarios and measurable acceptance criteria.
  • Proven ability to execute end-to-end UAT business scenarios and document results with high-quality evidence and clear defect detail.
  • Strong experience using JIRA to create, manage, and track tasks/defects through defined workflows and end-to-end process flow.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and strong documentation discipline.
  • Experience using Confluence and test management tools (e.g., qTest or similar) to manage artifacts, traceability, and sign-offs.
  • Ability to write and execute SQL queries for test validation and data analysis.
  • Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies and how testing integrates across the SDLC.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing and editing executive-level updates.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience supporting UAT within Risk, Controls, or other regulated environments requiring governance and evidence-based sign-offs.
  • Prior experience leading defect triage discussions and driving resolution across business and technology teams.
  • Experience building or contributing to automation solutions (frameworks, reusable components, regression suites) to improve test efficiency.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD integrations and techniques such as intelligent test selection and automation stability practices.
  • Demonstrated use of innovation tools (AI/GenAI productivity tools, workflow automation, low-code/no-code solutions, analytics dashboards) to enhance UAT planning, execution, reporting, or defect management.
  • Experience reconciling results across multiple test cycles, environments, or tester groups and driving consistent outcomes.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced delivery environments with high visibility, ambiguity, and shifting priorities.
