Your role and responsibilities

Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

Perform accounting reconciliations, monthly closings and accounting entries/adjustments

Support the preparation of financial reports, dashboards, and presentations using tools like Excel and IBM Planning Analytics.

Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and provide insights to senior FP&A team members.

Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and economic factors to inform financial strategies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including accounting and operations, to gather data and ensure alignment on financial objectives.

Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency through automation or improved workflows.

Operate the payment of insurance policies.

Responsible of review and approvals at Intercompany Services Agreements between IBM Brazil and others IBM’s.

Participate in different projects to automate stages of different financial processes.

Required technical and professional expertise

Undergraduate students who will graduate in December 2028.

Currently studying for a degree in a related field (Economics, Business Administration, Production Engineering, Accounting)

Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Basic knowledge of financial principles, budgeting and forecasting.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate across departments.

Willingness to learn, adapt and contribute in a fast-paced environment.

Intermediate English and basic Spanish.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Experience with data visualization tools.

Prior internship or project experience in finance or related fields.
