Position Overview
As a Life Enrichment Assistant, you will help plan and provide engaging daily activities that support the physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual well-being of our residents.
The right candidate will bring creativity, enthusiasm, compassion, and a genuine desire to make each day meaningful for the seniors we serve.
Responsibilities

Promote, organize, and lead recreational and life-enrichment programs.

Encourage residents to participate in activities based on their interests, preferences, and abilities.

Create engaging experiences that support the different domains of wellness.

Build positive and respectful relationships with residents and their families.

Assist with activity documentation, including attendance records, assessments, and progress notes.

Help prepare activity spaces and gather necessary supplies.

Work collaboratively with the Life Enrichment team and other center partners.

Maintain a positive, welcoming, and supportive environment.
Qualifications

A genuine desire to work with and enhance the lives of seniors

Compassionate, caring, creative, and energetic personality

Reliable with a positive attitude and a team-oriented approach

Strong communication and organizational skills
-
Knowledge of wellness-based programming in long-term care is preferred
-
One year of experience working with seniors in a long-term care setting is preferred but not required
