General Hand - Dispatch

As a General Hand - Dispatch, you will support our Animal Health operations at the Brisbane manufacturing site by physically stocking dispatch warehouse areas, picking and packing customer orders, and preparing goods for export. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will help ensure products are dispatched safely, efficiently, and in line with customer expectations.

In this role, you will carry out daily warehouse and dispatch activities, maintain accurate records and documentation, support stocktakes and deliveries, and help maintain a clean, safe, and secure working environment. Training will be provided across key systems, processes, and compliance requirements.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include, however not limited to:

  • Pick, pack, label, and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time.

  • Stock and maintain dispatch warehouse areas in a safe and organised manner.

  • Ensure goods are stored correctly and in the appropriate location.

  • Maintain good housekeeping and warehouse security at all times.

  • Assist with stocktakes, daily deliveries, and pick-ups as directed.

  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Quality, Environmental Health & Safety, and company procedures.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all SOPs, policies, and procedures.

  • Complete PV training and report any potential adverse events or product quality complaints in line with required processes and timelines.

  • Identify hazards, risks, and environmental aspects, and escalate or document them appropriately.

  • Support audits, inspections, corrective actions, and EHS improvement activities as required.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve quality, processes, and systems.

What You Must have

  • Strong computer skills, with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • SAP system knowledge is an advantage.

  • Physically capable of manual handling tasks.

  • Multiskilled, organised, methodical, and pragmatic.

  • Strong problem-solving ability.

  • Customer-focused with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence, empathy, resilience, and adaptability.

  • Team-oriented, with the ability to collaborate across functions and contribute proactively.

  • Demonstrated ethics and integrity, with responsible use of company assets.
