Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations supporting enterprise IT hardware lifecycle management in a fast-paced federal government environment. The successful candidate will lead a team of warehouse professionals responsible for inventory management, asset accountability, hardware forecasting, receiving, configuration, order fulfillment, shipping, equipment transfers, repair coordination, and surplus processing. This individual will ensure efficient warehouse operations, maintain accurate inventory records, provide operational reporting and forecasting, and serve as the primary interface with customers and internal stakeholders while delivering exceptional service and maintaining compliance with organizational and contractual requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all day-to-day warehouse operations supporting the IT hardware lifecycle.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of 10+  warehouse personnel, assigning work priorities and ensuring operational objectives are achieved.
  • Forecast IT hardware requirements and coordinate hardware procurement to support program needs.
  • Oversee receiving, inventory management, asset tracking, storage, configuration, testing, repair coordination, order fulfillment, equipment transfers, shipping, and surplus disposition activities.
  • Manage customer tickets and work orders using ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records utilizing ILMS, Core IMS, barcode scanning technology, and other inventory management systems.
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments while ensuring compliance with customer and organizational requirements.
  • Manage warehouse consumable inventory and ensure adequate supplies are available to support daily operations.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly activity reports, inventory status reports, hardware forecasts, and operational metrics.
  • Serve as the primary warehouse representative during customer meetings, operational reviews, and team meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures and proper material handling practices.
  • Coordinate equipment transfers between facilities while maintaining full asset accountability.
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 10 years experience along with a high school diploma/GED
  • U.S Citzenship; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
  • Experience leading and managing a team of 10+ warehouse personnel.
  • Demonstrated experience managing the complete IT hardware lifecycle, including forecasting, ordering, receiving, inventory management, configuration, testing, repair coordination, shipping, equipment transfers, and surplus processing.
  • Experience utilizing ILMS, Inventory Management System, ServiceNow, barcode scanning technology, and other inventory management systems.
  • Experience processing customer tickets and work orders within an IT Service Management (ITSM) environment.
  • Experience developing hardware forecasts, inventory projections, weekly activity reports, and operational metrics.
  • Experience supporting domestic and international shipping and receiving operations.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience interacting directly with customers and program leadership.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to obtain and maintain certification.
  • Ability to lift and move IT equipment and work safely in a warehouse environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting Department of State or other federal government IT warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Experience managing enterprise IT asset management or large-scale technology refresh initiatives.
  • Knowledge of federal property accountability, inventory management, and surplus property processes.

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
