The Role:

  • As Quality Coordinator, you will be a member of the site quality team, with responsibility for maintaining product and quality compliance within the Abbott Carbury Point manufacturing environment.

  • This is an day shift position, Mon -Thurs 08:00 -16.30 and Friday 08:00 – 15:00

Major Responsibilities

Reporting to the Quality Manufacturing Supervisor, your primary responsibilities are:

  • In process and final sampling and testing of manufactured product

  • Coordination of in-process work order file documentation

  • Operation and maintenance of electronic document management system

  • Provision of assistance to various functions on quality, technical, documentation or other issues.

  • Assistance with CAPA investigations and correction/corrective action plans.

  • Assistance with internal and supplier audits

  • Metric compilation and coordination

  • Co-ordination of the retain sample and stability sample program

  • Supporting laboratory activity where appropriately trained.

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to optimize processes, improve quality, and enhance operational effectiveness.

  • Provide flexible support to other areas of the business and undertake additional responsibilities as required by the company.

EHS Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Environmental Health & Safety standards are met and all EHS regulations and procedures are adhered to.

  • Demonstrate accountability and responsibility for EHS performance and compliance through active participation and support of Abbott’s EHS Program Ensure to report any work-related injuries or illness to employee health and assist in the investigation.

  • Active participation and support of Abbott’s EHS programs and attend EHS training as assigned.

Education Required:

  • Leaving Certificate qualification and a minimum of three years' relevant work experience, including some experience in a quality or compliance-related role; or a third-level qualification in a relevant discipline.
