About the Area

AIPB (AI Private Banker) is Nubank's bet to give every customer a private banker in their pocket. We build the flagship conversational agents that millions of customers use inside the app. Pix with AI is Nubank's first AI-powered action channel, with about 11.8M monthly users and 50M+ transactions per month. Financial Summary helps customers understand and organize their money. Our Borrowing agents help customers hire and manage loans. Everything ships on a shared Conversation Platform and the Private Banker Hub. We move fast: new agents, new capabilities, and new experiments every week.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a SWE (IC6/IC7) with Mobile development background, and at least 12 months at Nu who:

• Mobile expert: Has a strong mobile engineering background at Nu (BDC) with knowledge of backend development.

• Product builder: Loves shipping polished, interactive UI. Cares deeply about UX and app quality.

• AI-curious: Wants to build with LLM agents and AI-native products. No AI background is required, only the drive to learn it fast.

• Technical leader: Can set the mobile engineering direction across AIPB agents, define shared patterns, mentor, and write clear RFCs.

• Owner: Is comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-evolving product and drives work from discovery to delivery.

Some topics you'll have the opportunity to work on in H2/2026

• Work on the Proactive Insights project, a joint venture with the Platform team: proactive, personalized insights on the AIPB Hub.

• Own the mobile engineering strategy for the whole AIPB agents area: a shared widget catalog, interactive components, and reusable patterns across agents.

• Build new in-chat widgets and richer experiences for the Financial Summary and other agents.

• Raise the bar on mobile quality, performance, and observability across all agents.
