As an ETL Automation Engineer - Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights within our Data and Analytics Engineering group. You will be at the forefront of designing and implementing data pipelines that drive business intelligence and analytics solutions. As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to analyze complex problems, mentor junior team members, and maintain professional standards. You will focus on building meaningful client connections and developing a deeper understanding of the business context, navigating complex situations to grow your personal brand and technical skills.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will be part of our Data Engineering team, working within our Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics network. You will collaborate with a diverse team to deliver innovative data solutions, enhancing our clients' ability to make informed decisions. This position offers the opportunity to work within our Data Modernisation practice, where you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge data strategies and solutions. Your work will be instrumental in driving the success of our clients' data initiatives, providing you with a dynamic and rewarding career path.

Responsibilities

- Developing and maintaining ETL processes to support data integration and transformation
- Utilizing Apache Airflow and Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs) for workflow automation and orchestration
- Implementing data architecture development and optimization strategies to enhance data pipeline efficiency
- Leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure Databricks for scalable data solutions
- Conducting data validation and quality checks to maintain data integrity and reliability
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement data warehouse solutions using Snowflake and other platforms
- Performing database administration and optimization tasks to improve system performance
- Applying analytical thinking to solve complex data engineering challenges and improve data infrastructure
- Building and managing data lakes and warehouses to support advanced analytics and reporting needs
- Engaging in continuous learning and adaptation to embrace new technologies and methodologies in data engineering

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
