Position: Regional VP (General Manager)
Monogram Health is seeking a seasoned and experienced operations and P&L leader. The Regional VP will be accountable for the overall operational performance in their region with a focus on growth through patient engagement, profitability, and exceeding operational and clinical KPIs goals. This individual should have a proven track record as a business leader in a multi-market practice or home-based model, and experience leading and developing a large team of executives.
The General Manager will function as the COO of the Region President, for their respective region, and be responsible for executing multi-market level strategies to meet and exceed company KPIs. They will coach, train and mentor market leadership and partner with areas outside of operations in a highly matrixed environment (e.g. Client Partnerships, Strategy, Med Economics, Finance and PMO). Partnering with the Regional Medical Executive, the General Manager will ensure that their teams are driving clinical outcomes and adhering to the company’s model of care and clinical standards for patient care. The ideal candidate has a sense of personal accountability for delivering both individual and team results and will effectively foster a work culture that focuses on Monogram’s mission and values.
Responsibilities
- Will operate as the right hand to the President, in a COO capacity to drive operational and business performance.
- Maintains ultimate accountability for regional operational performance and outcomes.
- Through heavy data analysis, assess, interpret, and guide key business decisions and strategic direction.
- Create and implement operational and growth strategies to further the company’s profitability.
- Set regional key performance goals and manage the performance of the region, alongside the President.
- Will function as the Operations Center of Expertise (COE).
- Manage the recruitment, hiring, and training processes of market operations leaders.
- Create, implement, and manage internal operational policy and procedures.
- Will deploy to coach, mentor, and develop market leadership.
- Will drive culture, team building and employee retention across the assigned region.
- Will support turnaround markets, in conjunction with the regional medical leadership.
- Ensure that the region and all markets are delivering value to all clients, by working closely with Client Partnerships and key cross-functional stakeholders to improve efficiency and drive performance.
- In conjunction with finance/Med Econ, drive strategy to increase revenue, manage labor and non-labor expenses and support efforts to drive down medical expenses.
- Effectively execute and oversee large strategic and operational projects and new client launches.
- Regularly assesses and evaluates operational and clinical performance to ensure the region is meeting and exceeding regional goals.
- Decrease performance variability across assigned region.
- Lead Market and support Regional Monthly Performance Reviews.
- Ensure the assigned region is managing against plan for overall financial health and alignment with P&L.
- Enhance the community physician relationships in the region.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and or experience required.
- This position is remote but may require 25% travel within their given market.
- Minimum of 5 years of healthcare leadership experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ previous experience working in Managed Care or Delegated Risk Partnerships.
- Proven experience in directing and motivating clinical staff and market leaders.
- Demonstrated verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
- Advanced degree, e.g., master’s degree, MHA, MBA. Preferred.
