Responsibilities

 

·       Chemical Data Consolidation: Work across multiple systems to correlate part numbers with supplier chemical data and chemical composition.

·       HPD Execution: Manage the end-to-end creation of Health Product Declarations by entering validated material data into the HPD Builder tool.

·       Supplier Engagement: Conduct campaigns to close data gaps, working directly with suppliers to obtain chemical disclosures and material declarations.

·       Material Health Analysis: Analyze supplier data to identify chemical hazards and ensure data quality meets the standards for LEED, Living Building Challenge and other green building rating systems.

·       Program Enablement: Coordinate with the Mechanical Engineer and US-based teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting for sustainability projects.

 

Requirements

 

·       Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.

·       Experience: 2–5 years in materials compliance, chemical analysis, or sustainability reporting.

·       Domain Knowledge: Understanding of chemical regulations and familiarity with HPDs, EPDs, or similar transparency documents.

·       Systems: Experience with HPD Builder, Assent Compliance, or IMDS is highly preferred. Proficiency in Excel is required.

·       Analytical Skills: Ability to summarize complex chemical data and identify missing information in supplier declarations.

·       Soft Skills: Strong written communication for supplier interaction; naturally collaborative and detail-oriented.
