The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
This is a high-impact leadership role within Solventum’s Infection Prevention & Surgical Solutions business, leading a regional team across strategically important NHS and private healthcare accounts. Reporting to the National Sales Manager you will play a key role in driving growth, strengthening customer partnerships and enabling clinical teams to adopt solutions that support safer, more efficient patient care.

You will lead, manage and motivate a team of 6 Territory Business Managers across the South of England to achieve total business sales targets and growth expectations, as defined annually by the Operating Plan.

As Regional Sales Manager you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Leading the regional team to deliver sustainable sales growth, profitability and customer impact through disciplined execution of strategic sales plans as laid out by the IP&SS Division in both hospital and community health markets.

  • Building a coaching-led culture where Territory Business Managers are empowered, accountable and equipped to deliver excellent customer engagement, disciplined pipeline management and consistent sales execution.

  • Ensuring that your team receive the benefit of regular performance reviews to maximise the contribution and potential of each employee, through the identification of training/development needs and the implementation of comprehensive and effective individual development plans and coaching.

  • Playing a key role in capturing and communicating sales team and customer feedback to the management team, including changes within the NHS relevant to clinical and procurement processes taking place within your region.

  • Collaboration with the IP&SS Sales Management and NHS Partnerships team to drive forward projects relating to business growth aligned to the IP&SS strategic plan.

This role offers the opportunity to influence a growing business area, work closely with senior commercial and clinical stakeholders, and develop a high-performing team in a market where our solutions can make a tangible difference to healthcare outcomes.

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position

Your Skills and Expertise 
 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ healthcare, medical device sales experience

    • Experience working with NHS procurement, clinical stakeholders or value-based selling

    • Strategic account planning and pipeline management

    • Commercial acumen and data-led decision-making

  • Proven people leadership/coaching experience

    • Track record of delivering sales growth through a team

    • Ability to translate strategy into field execution

    • Change leadership

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Current, valid UK Driver’s License

  • IT Skills incl. Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams etc.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Work location:

  • Remote (Home/Field based)

  • Situated in South of England with easy commute to Greater London area

Travel: May include up to 80% of time travelling in the Southern region supporting and coaching team members and visiting customers; infrequent but as required travel to HQ in Loughborough, Leicestershire.
