National Air Logistics Development Manager

The primary duty of the Business Development Manager for Air Logistics is to drive the growth within the geographical scope, interface to FU Sales, xBU sales engagement, lead/support product development, lead/support pricing and all solutions under Air Logistics.

How you create impact

Strategic Business Development

• Fully responsible for country volume & yield growth/retention.
• Customer development, FU Sales & xBU Sales engagement
• Understanding key local market dynamics and react as needed
• Analyze competition and market data to ensure KN understand the key gaps and working with National Air Logistics manager to bridge them and deliver superior solution/service in the geographical coverage area.
• Speak in local industry forums / exhibitions and write press articles

Product Development

• Responsible or support all product rollout within country as per global team direction.
• Pricing responsible or support ensure country team follow global direction, meeting set KPI and rollout the process.
• Responsible for local sustainability topics and support global rollout plans.

Operation & Customer Experience

• Support Customer Care location setup and ensure we follow global process.
• Responisble to monitor country Customer Feedback tool and its feedback with CCL Manager.
• Support escalation and ensure continue to work with CCL /OCC & RCC responsible to improve the overall performance & customer experiences. 

What we would like you to bring

•    Fluent verbal and written communication skills in Korean and English.
•    Minimum 10 years of experience in Air Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or International Supply Chain.
•    Proven experience in Business Development, Commercial Management, Product Management, or Pricing.
•    Demonstrated success in driving business growth, customer acquisition, and profitability.
•    Experience in solution development, tender (RFQ/RFP) management, and strategic customer engagement.
•    Experience leading cross-functional projects and collaborating with regional/global stakeholders.
•    Experience in Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, or Life Science Logistics is highly preferred.
•    Previous people management and/or cross-functional leadership experience is preferred.
•    Ambitious and commercially driven with a strong customer focus.
•    Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Strong business acumen with the ability to identify market opportunities.
•    Strong leadership and influencing capability.
•    Collaborative with the ability to build relationships across Business Units, Functional Units, and global networks.
•    Results-oriented with a high level of ownership and accountability.
•    Proactive, adaptable, and resilient in a dynamic business environment.
•    Continuous improvement and innovation mindset.
